The conference was attended by all officers.

Update:

1. Due to the poor quality of 1st 50 chairs  provided we are considering getting the remaining Library chairs for here to be shipped to the college. The detail is yet to be worked out.

2. Working towards our altimate goal of e-journals( one of the provost request), we need to provide a working network with reliable internet connection for the library. We've looked into the options of VSAT versus Server connection to University of Lagos satillite. The VSAT need continuous maintainance by us, the alternative of a Server will be maintained by the CMUL Technical dept. We are awaiting Server specification and quote from CMUL tech. dept.

3. The request for a 1000KVA generator for CMUL (Library/lecture theater) by  the provost was discussed. The current quotes are beyoud the financial capability of the Alumni presently. Although we are expecting some more quotes from the liberian, we are unlikly to procede with this project untill more input from Alumni.

4. We discussed working towards the next alumni general meeting at Nashville Tennessee, Dr Tunji Junard is coordinating, more datail at the next teleconference. The date for the meeting is May 23rd 2009, Please mark this date on your calender.
