Dear Sir,

Response to letter written to Medilag Alumni.
We the members of the CMUL Alumni USA, hereby acknowledge receipt of the above letter to the Alumni through Dr. Norohna on her recent visit to the United States. The letter was read to the attending members during our last teleconference on Nov 16, 2009. We thank you for your foresight in being the first Provost to acknowledge and include Medilag alumni in the future plans for the college. We are already deliberating on our capabilities regarding your request and how best to help the college.

To foster good communication between us, we recommended direct contact between the provost and the Alumni, either through the president, Dr.Abimbola Osunkoya at email@myemail.com or any of the duly elected members of the organization. There is currently a functioning alumni web site (www.cmulalumin.com) with email addresses of all elected officers.

During our only teleconference with you, your vision of establishing a staffed alumni center was well received, this we considered a priority project in other to cultivate the alumni. We look forward to you fulfilling this promise expeditiously. This will facilitate communication between the college and alumni Diaspora, provides us with up to date college plans, above also negate the pitfall faced by most us abroad with regards to transcript and references. The benefit to the college of having an up to date alumni directory with this alumni office cannot be over emphasis. This will further enhance our interest and encourage participation in the college affairs.

Our goal is to provide support to the college, our alma mater. We embrace this new beginning and look forward to further strengthen our relationship in years to come.
